It's raining!!
It is actually raining and has cooled down. Not enough rain to break the drought or water restrictions, but at least everything is not dry and dusty.
Lazy day today, did the usual housework and washing. Only stitched about 10 stitches.
Just got back from dropping Simon off at a cafe for dinner with friends, the worst part we have to pick him up again at 9pm. We are getting too old for this LOL. The joy of teenagers.
All is going well with John and he heads back to his specialist in a week, so nice to have the whole week off from hospital visits. His numbers are trickling down slowly, now at 135. Not the ideal 120, but the doctor is happy enough and John feels well.
A bit of sad family news, John's oldest cousin died yesterday, he was 52. Terrible for his poor Mum who is not a well lady herself at 75. No matter what age the death of your child must be the hardest to bear.
