Ongoing Renovations
Still going and going and going LOL.
The kitchen is not quite complete, I have no drawers. First the kitchen company supplied the wrong size drawers. Then the guy putting them in lost some of the components and the kitchen company hadn't cut down a drawer cupboard, but a regular cupboard so there are no drill holes for the drawers. So back to the kitchen company so they can work out where exactly to put the holes and I will eventually have drawers LOL. Then I can finish unpacking the kitchen stuff.
We went out yesterday and bought the new fridge, it is being delivered this morning. We also bought 2 recliners and they will be delivered Wednesday. Giving me time to finish the painting in the lounge.
We have to buy the tiles for the splashback in the kitchen, having decided on black.
The bathroom and toilet are being done starting March 17th. We just have a little prep work to do and need to buy a new toilet and hand basin. 3 or 4 days without access to the toilet and bathroom will be interesting. Luckily we know the neighbours well :)
Can't upload pictures yet as the computer isn't connected to the printer and I can only get the photos off of the camera through the photo capture on the printer.
The computer is proving problematic as we try to decide where to put a computer since we no longer want it in the dining room. I was planning to get a laptop, but we are still debating.

We Are on the Way
to a new kitchen. Some progress shots. Still need to have another cupboard installed over the fridge space, end panel put on the main bench, flooring put down and kickboards added, oh and we need a new oven door!! The kitchen installer managed to put his knee right through the middle of the glass door and boy did it shatter.

Demolition Continues
What a mess LOL, but it will look good when we are done.
Thursday was a busy day, the old oven was removed, the new oven was delivered as was the new paint.
Now we need to clean up the mess, repair and paint the walls and wait for the new kitchen to be started. We have the electrician coming Wednesday to redo wiring for the new oven and the plumber/gas fitter coming Thursday to connect the gas for the new oven. Then the following Monday the new kitchen is put in and then the flooring.
Still need to buy the new kitchen sink and find a new stainless steel fridge. So this morning we are going out for breakfast and working out exactly what we need to do and buy.
Such fun.
