Thursday - Off to hospitals we go
See, the same old same old....off to two hospitals again today.
First Simon in for his knee treatment, which seems to be working. Then we'll drop him home and head off to our hospital to see the renal physician and the renal surgeon and finally the renal liaison nurse to sign the paperwork.
Luckily there are plenty of leftovers from last night for dinner tonight.
Justin enjoyed his 17th birthday, we gave him a guitar with all the bits - spare strings, picks, a strap and carry bag, it also came with an instructional DVD. Was definitely a bargain, cost us less for the whole package than it did for Simon's guitar last year - all Simon got was the guitar.
It was nice to see them both sitting together with Simon showing Justin a few things. Justin was quite impressed when he could play 2 bits of music by the end of the evening.
My in laws came for dinner - lasagne, spaghetti and meatballs and garlic bread, followed by fudge frosted chocolate cake. Lots left over so we'll have the same again tonight.
Justin and Simon are both working tonight and tomorrow night. Bradley has youth group tomorrow night so with John sleeping the evening away it will just be Shane and I - might drag out Scrabble or Upwords again.
Won't be doing much today apart from driving and talking to doctors :)
