2 Hospitals in 1 Day - How Exciting LOL
Another day another hospital visit - make that two.
John will get home from work about 7.30am, have a bit of a sleep, then we are off to hospital number 1 with Simon, so he can get his painful knee checked out. Must remember to take the x-rays and the referral letter.
His appointment is at 11.15am, so John won't get much sleep. He could normally stay home, but we have to go straight to hospital number 2 after Simon's appointment.
Today is our final cross match. Lots of blood work for me, not so much for John - I don't quite know why, but I don't have a problem with blood tests. John will just worry about me getting needles.
So...the boys miss another day of school, but that can't be helped. They will miss a few more yet, we have appointments again next Thursday and they will miss the entire last week of the school term. Shane is happy dancing, except for the Thursdays because he misses his favourite - Geology. Simon is suffering because he will miss his girlfriend, but he is suffering quietly so that's ok. It wouldn't be such a pain for him if his girlfriends father would let him call or let his daughter call, but he is trying to keep them apart. Not a good plan as it makes them more determined to stay together - talking engagement when they are 18. Hard to tell where the relationship would be now if it had been allowed to follow a more natural course. Teenagers - such fun.
Oh...I love my new microwave. Still learning, but it heats evenly. YAY!!
